Start from Somewhere

I remember this incident back when I am still in college. We are heading home riding a jeep from our school in Sta.Mesa to Marikina. I think this was around 2000 or 2001 and at that time, the traffic along Marcos, Aurora, and Magsaysay Highway was horrible since LRT 2's groundwork was on its initial phase.  The worst part of the traffic is concentrated at Katipunan. A massive crater and pillars upon pillars of concrete post are being pushed in onto the earth for foundation. We are heading home on a jeep and we are now in Cubao and the traffic is starting to crawl. Instead of going straight to the normal Aurora Blvd route, the driver then decided to go off course. So right pass Cubao, we took the 15th Ave then turn left to P.Tuazon. He drove straight then turn right at J.P Rizal (Labor Hospital). The traffic has caught up ...

Back in 2010, me and my girlfriend use to live in an apartment that is just 5 minutes walk away from the mall/s. The apartment is newly built and we are able to get dibs on the best unit. The only problem is the landowner besides the apartment (right side, our side!) decided to construct a single-floor storage unit. You would ask what the problem is? See... we are on the second floor. It means that the tin roof of the storage unit is exactly on our level and is the first thing you would see once you open the main door. It gets worse. During summer, all the heat absorbed by the roof radiates to our place. It is literally an oven. So this is were the mall comes into play. What our plan is, at around noon, we'll go to the mall, eat lunch, walk around for some window shopping or just sit there and enjoy the air conditioning of the place and go ...

I have created this account back in 2009. Back then, blogging is all the craze. Blogging is a side (main) hustle. You work your normal hours and blog after to earn extra. Great! At that point, there is so much happening in my life like work, paying debt, living from paycheck to paycheck that sort of stuff, that I have not paid attention to writing. It is for the simple reason: I GOT LAZY Fast forward to 2021. 12 years and I am trying this again, I'll try to remember past event that I find interesting.  Wish me luck!
